Currently, a group of researchers under the leadership of Doctor of Biological Sciences (DSc), Professor Maxim Nabozhenko of Dagestan State University and Head of the Department of Preschool Education Methodology, Doctor of Biological Sciences (DSc) Khudoibergan Bekchanov, Faculty of Pedagogy, Urganch State Pedagogical Institute, are conducting scientific research.

Scientists are continuing their research to determine the diversity of insect species of Uzbekistan in the regions of Bukhara, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Fergana, Namangan, Andijan. Professors and teachers of Fergana State University will also participate in the proceedings.

 For information, in August 2023, under the co-authorship of scientists, new species of beetles were discovered in Uzbekistan. The leading author of the article was N. Bekchanov, a young coleopterologist, a basic doctoral student of the Mamun Academy, and the co-authors were M. V. Nabojenko, a scientist of the Dagestan State University, and H. U. Bekchanov, a scientist of the Urganch State Pedagogical Institute. The article mentions 79 species of black beetles from the west of our country (Khorazm region and Karakalpakstan).
