A workshop was organized by an expert from Singapor

On March 6, 2024, an expert from Singapore – Benson Lek Hong Khim held a methodological seminar for professors and students of the department of Foreign Philology at Urgench State Pedagogical Institute. During the webinar, Mr. Benson mentioned the differences in teaching methods, comparing the Singapore school education system and the Uzbekistan education system. The expert also gave an insight into PISA – a system for assessing students’ knowledge and skills at the international level, and shared opinions about this system with students and teachers. The professors and students had a good impression on the seminar.
