URGANCH STATE PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTE DEPARTMENT OF MAGISTRATE

In 2022, the master's department was established at Urgench State Pedagogical Institute. The master's program is headed by Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogical Sciences (PhD) Davletov E.Yu.

Currently, the department of master's degree is operating based on the "Regulation on Magistracy", which came into force with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 36 dated March 2, 2015.

18 graduate students are studying in 5 spheres in the 1st year of the  department of master's degree of institute . Training of graduate students in these specialties is entrusted to 4 departments.

Experienced professors and teachers of the institute have been involved to give lessons in specialized subjects and to supervise master's theses. In addition, well-known scientists and professor from branch institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan were invited to the master's degree course.

Special attention is also paid to the issues of involving graduate students in scientific research, ensuring their active participation in international and local conferences, and publishing scientific articles based on the results of their scientific research.

The participation of graduate students of the institute in scientific conferences with scientific materials related to the topic of their dissertation is systematically established.

Duties of the Master's Department:

• coordinating the activities of Urgench State Pedagogical Institute with official departments and deaneries;

• laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on education, Presidential Decrees, Orders, Decisions, Decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, Decisions of the Board of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, orders, instructions, as well as ensuring and monitoring the execution of the rector's orders in faculties, departments, departments;

• delivering to students the content of decrees and decisions adopted by the President and the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

• development of necessary normative legal documents for master's degrees, regularly improving them based on the requirements and suggestions of personnel customers;

• to conclude and implement beneficial cooperation agreements between the institute and enterprises, organizations, private enterprises and firms;

• coordinating and controlling the activities of all departments of the institute on the training of masters;

• to support the organization and implementation of the educational process for the preparation of masters;

• control the quality of education and training offered to undergraduates;

• supervising the implementation of the tasks assigned to teachers involved in pedagogical activities at the master's degree, increasing their social, professional and personal activity;

• systematic analysis of the current situation in the master's degree, identification of problematic situations, determination of priority directions for the development of the master's degree;

• regular monitoring of future employment of masters;

• to control the implementation of master's students' scientific-pedagogical, scientific-research and master's thesis preparation activities according to the calendar work plan of master's students in accordance with the Regulation "On Master's Degree";

• to analyze issues of master's training and ensure regular preparation of reports on them;

• ensuring the effective organization of the final state certification tests and master's thesis defenses.
