Activities of the Department of Organization of scientific research activities of gifted students of Urgench State Pedagogical Institute

The Department for the organization of scientific research activities of gifted students is established in the 2022-2023 academic year and has its own Charter and Department plan. The department begins with the development of a criterion for the selection of gifted students in the course of its activities, the appointment of activists working with gifted students at faculties, and the development of their annual plans. Based on the established indicators, excellent students, active in public affairs and with special talent are selected based on the recommendations of the deans. Extensive work is carried out on the search for talented students at our institute, in addition to organizing training sessions, directing them to research work and ensuring their competent implementation of scientific research, and their high level of preparation for Presidential and state scholarship competitions, Republican Science Olympiads, involvement in various foreign and local grants.
In particular, in the Department for the organization of scientific research activities of gifted students, all conditions are created to support female students and make them widely represented their talents. As a result of this, the research of our daughters, scientist, artist and sportsman, will be specially awarded by the administration of our university.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, work is underway on the first developments in granting students the status of a talented student. Talented students are expected to be encouraged in the next academic year with a 10% allowance, since the 2023-2024 academic year, rector of the Institute, decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 2022 * * “on measures to establish the amounts of scholarships paid to students of higher educational institutions “No. 59 in 31yanvar 2020”and to improve the procedure for, Order of the Ministry of higher and secondary special education dated February 8, 2020 No. 97 and the statement of the meeting of the Council of the Institute No. ** *****in 2022 No. *** * * * to ensure the implementation of the tasks of the decision “on the establishment of the student incentive Council at the Urgench State Institute of oedagogy and material incentives for students”,, incentives are provided for the winners of the scholarship by accepting documents from students during the spring and autumn semester of the current academic year on the basis of the order №**** in order to establish activities in this direction more effectively. Students and their academic leaders are also encouraged based on established criteria.
The leadership of the institute has created extensive opportunities to support talented students and their scientific leaders, further improve their work with talented students at the Institute, show and develop their knowledge. According to the Charter of the teacher-student, each talented student is covered by a scientific leader and conducts research based on the scientific topics they are interested in. They publish the results of their research in prestigious international and domestic journals and conferences.
A lot of work is being done at our institute to attract talented students to the competitions of State scholarships and state scholarships of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Training sessions were organized with the involvement of professors to prepare students for testing and an interview at the Ministry of Higher Education.
