THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO GLOBAL TRENDS AND THE TURKIC WORLD WAS HELD WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF URGANCH STATE PEDAGOGICAL INSTITUTE

The first international conference dedicated to global trends and the Turkic world was held among the Central Asian states.

Urganch State Pedagogical Institute, Urganch State University, Azerbaijan University, Ege University, International University, Institute of History, Economics and Law Research, BZT Academy, Bitlis Eren University, Mindanao University and Trakya University were among the participating institutions.

The conference was organized with the support of Saadet Aliyeva, Rector of Azerbaijan University, and professors from Azerbaijan University including Qabil Aliyev, Elvin Talishinski, Rauf Semedov, Shahismayil Ismayilov, and Ferahile Babayeva-Shukurovalar.

Jumanazar Yarmetov, Rector of UrSPI, emphasized that developing cooperation with Turkish states in the coming years is one of the main directions of Uzbekistan's active foreign policy. He also mentioned that in October 2019, Uzbekistan became a full member of the Council of Turkish-Speaking States and that the Uzbek people are eagerly awaiting this. He also noted that after two years, a new page was opened in the history of the Council - it was renamed as the "Turkic States Organization" at the Istanbul Summit in 2021.

At this conference, the leadership and professors of Urganch State Pedagogical Institute participated with their scientific articles. Specifically, PhD Marguba Matquliyeva, PhD Doniyor Nafasov, pedagogy faculty member Zulayho Asqarova, and other teachers and graduate students participated with their articles.

Since joining the Turkish states family in a short period of time, Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has put forward more than 30 initiatives and proposals to further develop and strengthen cooperation among member states.

The research center of the conference aims to study the historical, scientific, and cultural heritage of Turkish-speaking states.

The importance and relevance of the conference can be seen from its title, "Global Trends and the Turkic World". Our peoples are connected by centuries-old friendship and good neighborliness. We are united by history, religion, common culture, and traditions. The initiative to declare 2022 as the "Year of Supporting Youth Initiatives" in the Turkic world will put forward new tasks for the scientific community of Uzbekistan to establish cultural relations with friendly nations.

Friendly political relations between Turkish-speaking states certainly bear fruit in science and culture, connecting our peoples through language, religion, common culture, and traditional values.
